Emergency Medicine Consultant (A&E)
Biography:
Mr Brodie Paterson is an Emergency Medicine (A and E) Consultant with extensive experience and expertise in hospital medicine and pre-hospital medicine (HEMS and UK air ambulance)
He is currently working flexibly and has completed the first third of a LLM in Healthcare Law and Ethics at the University of Dundee.
He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer with the University of Dundee supervising studies into RTA extrication and is an examiner for the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in London.
He runs face to face medicolegal clinics in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, Perth and Aberdeen. House calls and Orkney clinics are available on request.
Clinical Interests:
I have expertise in all aspects of acute and unscheduled injury and illness, both in hospital and at the roadside.
Medicolegal Experience:
Bond Solon training, particularly in Court attendance, report writing and medical negligence.
Expert Witness Institute certification.
Inspire Medial ongoing CPD.
I have provided pursuer and defender reports since 2012.
