Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon
Biography:
Mr Sargeant is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon in NHS Tayside. He has a general trauma practice based in Dundee and Perth, treating adult and paediatric upper and lower limb injuries. He is a fellowship trained specialist in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty. Mr Sargeant undertakes a variety of medical reports and has regular clinics in Perth and Dundee. Mr Sargeant practices privately in Kings Park Hospital, Stirling and Tayside Complete Health in Dundee.
Clinical Interests:
Mr Sargeant is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in hip and knee replacement surgery. He has a particular interest in both primary and revision arthroplasty, including the management of painful, failing and infected joint replacements. He offers hip resurfacing and day case joint replacement surgery, alongside standard and complex arthroplasty procedures tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Medicolegal Experience:
Mr Sargeant is a member of the Expert Witness Institute. He has a broad experience in medicolegal reporting in a range of conditions including low energy trauma, road traffic collision, whiplash injury, and lower limb trauma. He partakes in regular medicolegal training in conjunction with Resolve and the Expert Witness Institute. He has experience in both pursuer and defence reporting.
